Looking for a really cool gift to give the reader in your life (even if it’s you)? My good friend Gunda and I started a company this past summer and we’re just now getting ramped up. What we are trying to do is create a magazine/store that focuses on Asian trends that we believe will become Western trends in the coming months. We’ll be targeting fashion (our October 2004 feature on kimono-inspired dresses is the StyeWatch feature in the December 6th issue of People Magazine), food, games, furnishings, and miscellaneous goods thoughout the coming months.
Anyway, for December I asked Greg to find some unique gifts under $20 and he delivered. Check out these really cool Japanese Doll Bookmarks that would make great stocking stuffers for any readers on your list. Get ’em while they last!

uh huh.. interesting.
I used to make these similar Japanese bookmarks when I lived in Japan. You can buy these little kits at stationery stores, and they’d be located near the origami stuff.
