I just posted this ad on Craigslist seeking a new roommate.
Mr. Newmark, Mayor Newsom, tourists of North Beach, distinguished and fellow citizens of Russian Hill: Every once in a great while, by law and by custom, I post here to consider the state of my Union Street Address. This year, I gather myself here before you, deeply aware of the decisive days that lie ahead. I must find a new roommate, effective immediately.
A vote for Kucinich is a wasted vote. You want to know why Bush is in office right now? Cause people voted their “conscience” or more precisely, for Nader in the last election. Want to assure that Bush wins another term? Vote for whomever the tree-huggers want in office. Had everyone who voted for nader voted with their intelligence rather than with their bleeding hearts, Gore would be running the country and we wouldn’t have invaded Iraq… dumbasses!
So for Thanksgiving I deep fried a turkey. Part of that process included cleaning up after myself. I did… pretty much.
Another journal I read every so often is Joe Kelly’s For the Sake of Argument. Mostly it’s a discussion blog about controversial issues, some of which make it on the air of his radio show.
