Inherently Different

pretty young thing

Roadtonowhere Few can argue that there are plenty of reasons for disliking Michael Jackson. Aside from being richer than most Americans, which is reason enough, he is a few buckets short of a full load. If I was a parent, I wouldn’t let my kid be alone with him, but not because I think he’ll touch them inappropriately. No, I’d not want my kid exposed to the kind of apparent self-loathing that afflicts the former king of pop. Sure, I’d take in the fact that he has been accused numerous times by various parties of molesting little kids, but to be honest, the jury is still out on whether or not he’s done anything wrong.

When looking at the current case against him, I find fault with a number of coincidences. For instance, the family who is accusing him now, has accused others of sexual battery in the past. One of the witnesses, the brother of the accuser, has lied under oath… twice. The mother has a history of bringing suit. They previously accepted huge sums of money to keep their mouths shut, and no one who is truly bothered by criminal behavior has a price tag.

The jury is still out on the subject of what happened between Michael and the accuser, but for me, the jury has come back with a guilty verdict against the whole sordid mess, especially the witnesses the prosecution is going to bat with.
